Update (of Updatiness)
Guide to Building a Computer:
I have become quite lucky in finding the ultimate motivation for completing my guide. It will be complete by the end of the fall 2010 semester at the latest (so soon, I know!), as I get to do this for credit! Yay! This means that it will be a quite comprehensive guide from start to finish, and that I get to test it on people and revise it (testing may take place the following year, though). I may post things here as I go along just to make my life easier later when I have to compile it all.
Other Stuff:
I may also be able to offer tips on very basic website maintenance as I have become, by default, the webmaster of the UMD chapter of DocToDock.

Dear imaginary readers,
It turns out that I'm too lazy to do anything for this blog in a timely manner - So my basic guide on building a computer will probably happen in the not-so-near future as well. As I have to put effort into something that is intended to guide people, this blog may not be so much about computers as random interesting things that I come across.
And here is one such thing - I recently started listening to John 5's Songs for Sanity album and realized that "Gods and Monsters" has words from kiddush in it, although I can't quite make out all the words. Weird; I'm not sure what the purpose of that is.
Anyway, I'm off to reflect so I can write a reflection paper.

A Preview of Coming Attractions
This blog obviously has no direction as of yet (as evidenced by the title [which is something of an inside joke]). Because the field of computers is the one which I am most qualified to speak about, that is probably what this blog will end up being on, with the occasional whine and cheese of general happenings. If I ever get around to solving a certain geometrical problem - i.e. if I have the time because I'm not failing my classes - I may get into some origami stuff as well.
In the near future, I hope to upload something of a guide to building your own computer, choosing compatible components and whatnot. That may not happen because I rarely finish anything that I start, as evidenced by nearly every piece of art, program, and writing I have ever undertaken. Hopefully the idea that this blog is open for everyone to see will motivate me. Not that anyone reads this, but I can dream, can't I?
In the not so near future, I may post something of a tutorial for learning/teaching yourself Java. Back in the day (like a whole year ago), I began writing a "book" with the intent of posting it online for people to use for the AP computer science exam/s. I may put some of that up here and/or actually write more of it.
